Diagnostics of pupils at the primary school from teacher's perspective

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o diagnostice žáků primární školy v pojetí jejich učitelů a tvoří ji dvě části. Nejdříve je pozornost věnována teoretickým východiskům. Pro lepší pochopení tématu jsou na začátku práce vymezeny základní pojmy, které se s danou problematikou úzce pojí. Dále je stručně popsána historie pedagogické diagnostiky a samozřejmě nechybí ani její současné pojetí. Konkrétně jsou zmíněny např. cíle, předmět nebo úkoly pedagogické diagnostiky, oblasti, ve kterých je pedagogická diagnostika nejběžnější, popis průběhu pedagogického diagnostikování, které metody učitelé nejčastěji využívají, nebo kde přesně se setkáváme s tematikou diagnostikování v legislativě. Nejdůležitějším východiskem v této práci je kapitola čtvrtá, která se zabývá rolí učitele diagnostika. Mimo jiné jsou zde zmíněny kompetence učitele, podpůrná opatření v souvislosti s inkluzivní školou nebo učitel jakožto tvůrce individuálních plánů žáků. V praktické části jsou zpracována, analyzována a vyhodnocena data získaná metodou ohniskových skupin, konkrétně se jednalo o diskuze s učiteli ze tří vybraných primárních škol. Hlavními cíly výzkumu bylo prozkoumat, jakou důležitost přikládají učitelé prvního stupně diagnostice žáka všeobecně i s ohledem na inkluzi, zjistit, jak zodpovědně učitelé přistupují k pedagogické diagnostice a odkrýt rozsah a aktuálnost informací i znalostí pedagogů v této oblasti. Celý výzkum směřoval k tomu, aby získané informace vedly k zamyšlení učitelů 1. stupně nad důležitostí a podstatou pedagogické diagnostiky a k případnému navržení možných řešení, vedoucích k lepší informovanosti učitelů v této oblasti.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis is focused on the diagnostics of pupils at the primary school in the conception of their teachers and consists of two parts. First, I mention the theoretical bases. The basic concepts, which are with the issue closely linked, are at the beginning of the work for a better understanding of the topic. The history of pedagogical diagnostics is also briefly mentioned and, of course, there is also its current conception. Specifically mentioned are e.g. aims, objects and tasks of pedagogical diagnostics, parts where pedagogical diagnostics is the most common, description of the pedagogical diagnostics, methods which are the most frequently used by teachers or exactly where we encounter the theme of diagnosing the legislation. The most important theoretical part in this work is the fourth chapter, which deals with the role of the teacher as diagnostician. Among others teacher´s competencies are mentioned, support measures in the context of an inclusive school or teacher as a creator of individual plans for pupil. In the practical part is processed, analyzed and interpreted the data obtained using focus groups, in particular it was a discussion with teachers from three selected primary schools. The main objective of the research was to investigate how much importance they attach to the teachers of primary schools diagnosis pupil in general, with regard to inclusion and bring the findings. Furthermore, to reveal the extent and timeliness of information and knowledge of teachers in this area and directed to the information obtained led to the thinking of primary school teachers and about the importance and essence of educational diagnostics, and proposing possible solutions, leading to a better awareness of teachers in this area.
