Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with the concept of race and gender in Jack Kerouac's works The Subterraneans and Pic. The aim of the thesis is to point out the author's approach to the categories mentioned above. Each of the works observed will be placed in the context of both Beat Generation and Jack Kerouac.
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá pojetím rasy a genderu v dílech Jacka Kerouaca Podzemníci a Mag. Cílem této práce je objasnit autorův postoj k výše jmenovaným kategoriím. Obě sledovaná díla budou zasazena do kontextu tvorby Beatnické generace i Jacka Kerouaca samotného.
