The Elements of Chivalry in the Arthurian Legend
Abstract:
The thesis deals with the elements of the Arthurian legend. My aim was to prove that characters in the romance are just human beings who also make mistakes although they are percieved and celebrated as ideals. My another aim was to think about the occurance of individual elements of chivalric period in the present.
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá prvky rytířství v legendě krále Artuše. Mým cílem je ukázat, že postavy v románu také chybují a jsou to jen lidé ačkoli jsou v knize zobrazovány a oslavovány jako ideál. Dalším cílem bylo zamyslet se nad výskytem jednotlivých prvků rytířské doby v současnosti.
