Composition potential of selected plants during the year

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na proměnlivost dřevin v průběhu roku a využití této proměnlivosti pro vytváření kompozic v zahradní a krajinářské architektuře. Součástí práce je literární rešerše dané problematiky. Rešerše se věnuje základům fenologie a fenologické terminologii. Dále je stručně zmíněna historie fenologických pozorování a jsou nastíněny možnosti využití fenologie v různých oborech lidské činnosti. Jedna z kapitol přináší přehled kompozičních vlastností rostlin. Důležitá je část věnovaná typům proměnlivosti rostlin a využití této vlastnosti v kompozici. Hlavním přínosem práce je zachycení jednotlivých fenofází 30 taxonů dřevin v průběhu celého vegetačního období, zhodnocení jejich kompozičního potenciálu, stupně každoroční proměnlivosti a souběhů jejich atraktivních fenofází.

Abstract:

The work is focused on the variability of woody plants during the year and the use of said variability for creating compositions in gardens and landscape architecture. The work contains a literary research of this issue. The research deals with the basics of phenology and phenological terminology. Furthermore, the history of phenological observations is briefly mentioned and the possibilities of using phenology in various fields of work are outlined. One of the chapters provides an overview of the compositional properties of plants. The part devoted to the types of plant variability and the use of this property in the composition is particulary important. The main contribution of the work is the recording of individual phenophases of 30 tree taxa during the entire vegetation period, evaluation of their compositional potential, the degree of annual variability and the concurrence of their attractive phenophases.
