Integration of children with behavioral disorders and with a deprivation syndrome on the second degree of mainstream elementary school

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je individuální integrace dítěte s poruchami chování a s deprivačním syndromem na 2. stupni běžné základní školy. V první kapitole teoretické části jsou vymezeny základní pojmy z oblasti psychické deprivace. Jsou popsány podmínky jejího vzniku a možné důsledky v kognitivním, emočním a sociálním vývoji. Druhá kapitola definuje poruchy chování, věnuje se faktorům, které mohou zapříčinit vznik poruch chování, a závěrem uvádí ADHD syndrom a specifické poruchy učení jako nejčastější komorbidní poruchy. Třetí kapitola představuje teoretické vymezení inkluzivního vzdělávání a edukační potřeby žáků s poruchami chování. Dále jsou předloženy možnosti odborného poradenství integrovaného dítěte a individuální vzdělávací plán. Praktická část popisuje formou případové studie průběh integrace v prostředí běžné základní školy. Jsou analyzovány edukační přístupy pedagogů a jejich metody práce ve vybraných předmětech, přítomnost asistentky pedagoga ve vyučování a postoje spolužáků vůči integrovanému dítěti ve třídě.

Abstract:

The thesis topic is concerned with integration of a child as an individual with mental disorder and deprivation syndrome during the 2nd stage of elementary school development. The basic psychic deprivation terminology is introduced in the first chapter of a theoretical section. Furthermore, the conditions required for the manifestation of such a deprivation are discussed along with possible consequences in cognitive, emotional and social development. The second chapter defines behavioural disorders and focuses on factors that could play a role in the emergence of such disorders and it concludes with ADHD syndrome and other specific learning disorders as the most common comorbid disorders. The third chapter introduces the theoretical boundaries of inclusive education and education requirements of a pupil with behaviour disorder. Furthermore, we present the abilities of professional counselling of an integrated child and individual education plan. Practical section describes the integration process in the environment of an ordinary school as a case study. We conclude with an analysis of teachers' educational approaches, their methods in selected subjects and presence of an assistant of a pedagogue in education as well as the viewpoint of other classmates towards integrated child in the class.
