Abstract:

Studie geografického rozložení volební podpory politických subjektů často ústí v identifikaci kompozitních nebo kontextuálních faktorů, podmiňujících nerovnoměrnost rozložení této podpory, a nevysvětlenou část variability zdůvodňují přítomností blíže nespecifikované politické kultury. Cílem této závěrečné práce bylo identifikovat typy politické kultury v ČR a zmapovat jejich rozmístění. Politologickými charakteristikami politických subjektů byla nejprve provedena typologie politických kultur, a poté bylo vyjádřeno a interpretováno geografické rozmístění těchto typů politické kultury. Postup se opírá především o kvantitativní data o výsledcích parlamentních voleb a využívá metodiky typologie a kartografické vizualizace. Výsledky identifikovaly čtyři typy politické kultury: odcizenou, parochiální, poddanskou a participativní. Odcizená a parochiální politická kultura je více přítomná v podobných regionech, charakteristických periferní polohou a ekonomickým zaostáváním. Poddanská kultura je typická pro venkovské oblasti Moravy, zatímco s participativní kulturou se setkáme nejčastěji naopak v metropolitních oblastech, a to více v Čechách než na Moravě.

Abstract:

Studies of the geographical distribution of electoral support of political entities often result in the identification of composite or contextual factors that determine the uneven distribution of this support, and justify the unexplained part of the variability by the presence of an unspecified political culture. The aim of this work was to identify the types of political cultures in the Czech Republic and to map their distribution. The typological characteristics of political cultures were first performed by the political characteristics of political subjects, and then the geographical distribution of these types of political culture was expressed and interpreted. The procedure is based primarily on quantitative data on the results of parliamentary elections and uses methodologies of typology and cartographic visualization. The results identified four types of political culture: alienated, parochial, serf, and participatory. Alienated and parochial political culture is more present in similar regions, characterized by peripheral location and economic backwardness. The serf culture is typical of rural areas of Moravia, while participatory culture is most often encountered in metropolitan areas, more so in Bohemia than in Moravia.
