Evaluation of the unrealized proposals for federalisation of Austria-Hungary from political-geographic perspective
Abstract:
The Austro-Hungarian Monarchy was a complex state entity that arose after various Central European and Balkan countries came under the power influence of the Habsburg dynasty. It was made up of eighteen crown lands, and in 1867, the federation of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy and partially autonomous Croatia emerged from it. Rakúsko-Uhorská monarchia bola zložitým štátnym útvarom, ktorá vznikla po tom, čo sa rôzne stredoeurópske a balkánske krajiny dostávali pod mocenský vplyv dynastie Habsburgovcov. Tvorilo ju osemnásť korunných krajín a v roku 1867 vznikla z toho federácia Rakúsko-Uhorskej monarchie a čiastočne Chorvátsko, ktoré malo autonómiu.
