Education of pregnant woman about the prevention of perineal injury during childbirth

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá edukací těhotných žen o prevenci perineálního poranění vznikajícího při porodu. V teoretické části práce jsou shrnuty aktuální informace z oblasti edukace a role porodní asistentky v edukačním procesu, poznatky týkající se anatomie oblasti perinea (hráze) u žen a perineálního poranění. Také v ní jsou popsány možnosti prevence poranění. V praktické části je zpracován edukační proces, který probíhal v pěti fázích (posouzení, diagnostika, plánování, realizace a vyhodnocení). Pro tento proces byly vybrány tři těhotné ženy. Edukace byla realizována s každou klientkou individuálně v jedné edukační jednotce. Edukační plán byl vytvořen na základě vstupního dotazníku, kterým byla nejprve posouzena dosavadní informovanost žen na dané téma a až následně byla realizována samotná edukace žen. Pro klientky byla také jako podpora edukace vytvořena edukační brožura, která shrnuje témata edukace. Cílem vypracování a realizace edukačního procesu bylo překonat deficit znalostí vybraných těhotných žen a poskytnout jim dostatek informací na dané téma, stejně jako motivovat je k uvedení preventivních technik do praxe.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the education of pregnant women on the prevention of perineal injuries arising during childbirth. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes current information from the field of education and the role of the midwife in the educational process, knowledge about the anatomy of the perineum of women and knowladge about perineum injury. It also describes the possibilities of injury prevention. The practical part deals with the educational process, which took place in five phases (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation). Three pregnant women were selected for this process. The education was implemented with each client individually in one educational unit. The educational plan was created on the basis of an initial questionnaire, which first assessed the current awareness of women on the topic and only then was the actual education of women. An educational brochure was also created for clients to support education, which summarizes the topics of education. The aim of developing and implementing the educational process was to overcome the knowledge gap of selected pregnant women and provide them with sufficient information on the topic, as well as motivate them to put preventive techniques into practice.
