Liver Vessel Tree Analysis from Computed Tomography

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá tvorbou aplikace pro automatizovanou statistickou analýzu jaterního cévního stromu z obrazových dat výpočetní tomografie. Aplikace je založena na použití metod zpracování obrazu, při její tvorbě bylo využito programovacího jazyka Python. Práce také upozorňuje na několik překážek, které v určitých případech brání správnému zpracování dodaných snímků jaterního cévního stromu. Aplikace, kterou autor vytvořil a popsal v této práci, je zároveň součástí projektu LISA (LIver Surgery Analyser).

Abstract:

The focus of this thesis is the creation of an application for the automated statistical analysis of the hepatic vascular tree using image data from computed tomography. The application is based on the use of image processing methods and was created using the Python programming language. The thesis also highlights several obstacles which in certain situations prevent the proper processing of presented images of the hepatic vascular tree. The application which the author created and described in this thesis is also a part of the project LISA.
