The objective of this thesis is to introduce the work „The Beware of Pity“- the only novel that was in 1939 written by the Austrian author Stefan Zweig. The theoretical part deals with the the author himself, with his Jewish backround and also with the era he lived in. The aim of the practial part is to find out in what way his religion, the milieu he lived in, the psychology and also both World Wars …more
Abstract:
Tato práce se věnuje jedinému románu rakouského autora Stefana Zweiga „Netrpělivost srdce“ z roku 1939. Teoretická část se zabývá životem autora, jeho židovskými kořeny a také dobou, ve které žil. Cílem praktické části je ověřit, do jaké míry se jeho vyznání, prostředí, ve kterém vyrůstal, psychologie a také obě světové války odráží v jeho tvorbě.
