Taxation of gambling activities in selected countries

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zdaněním hazardních her v České republice, Polsku, Slovenské republice a Rakousku. Hlavním cílem této práce byla komparace zdanění hazardních aktivit ve vybraných zemích a na základě modelových příkladů ukázat míru efektivního daňového zatížení těchto aktivit, dále představení teorie zdanění hazardních her, kterou využijeme u modelových příkladů. Ve výsledku půjde zjistit, kdo má jaké výhody a kdo naopak nevýhody, jak při hraní hazardních her, tak i při provozování.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the taxation of gambling in the Czech Republic, Poland, the Slovak Republic and Austria. The main goal of this work was to compare the taxation of gambling activities in selected countries and based on model examples to show the degree of effective tax burden of these activities, as well as to introduce the theory of taxation of gambling, which we will use in model examples. As a result, it will be possible to find out who has what advantages and who, on the contrary, disadvantages, both in gambling and in operation.
