Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zameřená na televizní seriál z roku 2016 s názvěm Fleabag. Tato práce analytuje jak seriál zobrazuje 'dobré' a 'špatné' feministky. Cílem práce je dokázat, že postava špatné feministky je realistická a ženy se s ní mohou ztotožnit. Není feministickému hnutí nijak škodlivá, naopak reprezentuje novou éru feminismu: Čtvrtou vlnu. Cíle je dosaženo pomocí literární analýzy tří ženských postav ze seriálu. Analýza je provedena ve třech aspektech, díky kterým by postavy mohly být považovány za špatné feministky: body image, emocionální zranitelnost a vztah k feministickému establishmentu.

Abstract:

This Bachelor’s thesis focuses on the 2016 TV show Fleabag. The aim of this thesis is to analyze how this show portrays ‘bad’ and ‘good’ feminists. Its goal is to demonstrate that the character of a bad feminist is realistic and relatable. She is not detrimental for the feminist movement, but rather a representative of the new era of feminism – The Fourth Wave. The goal is accomplished by literary analysis of three female characters from the show. The analysis is centered on three aspects that could make the characters look like bad feminists – body image issues, emotional vulnerability and relationship to the feminist establishment.
