Safeguarding against illegal acts of unlawful interference at the airports

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřená na bezpečnostní opatření na letištích, směřujících k ochraně mezinárodního civilního letectví před protiprávními činy. Přesněji na práci bezpečnostních pracovníků tzv. screenerů, na technická zařízení, sloužící k detekci a vyhledávání, pro civilní letectví, nebezpečných a rizikových předmětů. Práce představí nové trendy a technologie z této oblasti, ale rovněž posoudí a bude analyzovat, která z přijatých opatření, jsou z hlediska zajištění bezpečnosti nejefektivnější a jejichž působnost je komplexní, přičemž výrazně ovlivňuje rovněž oblast prevence.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the safety meansures at airports, especially on the protection of international civil aviation against illegal acts. More precisely, it is aimed at the work of security staff, so called screeners, and at the technical equipment serving to the detection and searching dangerous and risk objects in civil aviation. The thesis will not only introduce new trends and technologies in this field, but also will assess and analyze which of the taken meansures are the most effective from the point of ensuring security and whose scope of powers is comprehensive, whereas it significantly influences the area of prevention as well.
