UDP Packet reflector using P4 on Tofino Native Architecture

Abstract:

This work deals with the implementation of UDP packet reflector in P4 language for Tofino Native Architecture, which is used by Tofino chips. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the properties of the P4 language and its architecture. The work also deals with the TNA architecture itself and the low-level design of the Tofino chip from the point of view of the programmer for this platform. In the practical part, the work deals with the design, implementation and testing of the reflector.

Abstract:

Táto práca sa venuje implementácii UDP paketového reflektora v jazyku P4 pre Tofino Native Architecture, ktorú využívajú čipy Tofino. V teoretickej časti práce sú popísané vlastnosti jazyka P4 a jeho architektúry. Práca sa ďalej venuje samotnej TNA architektúre a nízkoúrovňovému návrhu čipu Tofino z pohľadu programátora pre túto platformu. V praktickej časti sa práca venuje samotnému návrhu, implementácii a testom reflektora.
