This bachelor thesis was written in order to cover basic characteristics of AMD. Paper is focused mainly on describing all of the forms of AMD, its diagnosis, treatment and subsequent prevency. Every chapter has been structured to contain the description of AMD, its examination, treatment and medical procedures.
