Tato diplomová práce se zabývá literárním žánrem ,, anekdota“. Nejprve jsou vymezeny její základní charakteristické znaky, které ji od ostatních literárních forem tohoto typu odlišují nebo naopak spojují. Dále se autorka zabývá její typologií a historickým vývojem, kde je největší pozornost věnována době působení Heinricha von Kleista a dále Franze Carla Weiskopfa.
