První kapitola se věnuje vývoji investičních fondů od prvních pokusů, až po sofistikované fondy jak je známe dnes. Dále je sledován vývoj investičních fondů jak v zahraničí, tak v českém právu. The first chapter is devoted to the development of investment funds from the first attempts to sophisticated funds as we know them today. The development of investment funds, both abroad and in Czech law, is dealt with next. Finally, the chapter describes the individual development criteria.
