Shared economy in lodging services in Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá sdílenou ekonomikou v ubytovacích službách v České republice a analýzou její poptávky a nabídky. Cílem práce je analyzovat sdílenou ekonomiku v ubytovacích službách ze strany nabídky jak ze strany poptávky. Následně potom porovnat nabídku s poptávkou. Práce je teoreticko-aplikačního charakteru. V teoretické práci jsou definovány pojmy druhy ubytovacích zařízení, sdílená ekonomika, dále je zde definována sdílená ekonomika v ubytovacích službách. K tomuto tématu navazují jednotlivé příklady sdílené ekonomiky v ubytovacích službách jako je Airbnb, FlipKey, WIMDU, Couchsurfing, Homeaway a Housetrip.V teoretické části je následně popsána nabídka, jak ji známe dodnes a faktory, které ji ovlivňují i ze strany sdílení. V neposlední řadě jsou zde popsány i faktory ovlivňující poptávku ve sdílené ekonomice. Na nabídku navazují ekonomické dopady sdílené ekonomiky. Nakonec teorie jsou popsány právní povinnosti provozovatele sdílené ekonomiky. Analytická část práce se zabývá aplikování sdílené ekonomiky ze strany nabídky, tedy hostitele a ze strany poptávky, tedy ze strany hosta v Praze. Oba dotazníky byly zpracovány jako kvantitativní průzkum. Celkem ze strany nabídky odpovídalo 37 respondentů. Ze strany poptávky odpovědělo respondentů 62. Dotazování probíhalo písemnou i ústní formou. Jako poslední se analytická část věnuje porovnání některým výsledkům otázek poptávky a nabídky. Návrhová část je věnována regulacím a úpravě zákona. Je zde navržena nová příležitostná činnost a zákon, který jasně definuje sdílenou ekonomiku v ubytovacích službách. V závěru práce jsou ověřeny hypotézy, které byly stanoveny na začátku práce. Zároveň v závěru práce jsou vyčtena všechna zjištěná data, která byla získána během průzkumu.

Abstract:

The masters ́s dissertation deals with the shared economy in accommodation services in the Czech Republic and the analysis of its demand and supply. The target of the thesis is to analyze the shared economy in accommodation services from the supply side as well as the demand side and then compare the supply with the demand.The work is theoretical-application character. The theoretical work defines the concepts of accommodation, the shared economy, the shared economy in accommodation services is defined on this topic followed by examples of shared economy in accommodation services such as Airbnb, FlipKey, WIMDU, Couchsurfing, Homeaway and Housetrip. In the theoretical part We then describe the offer we know it today and the factors that influence it also from sharing. Last but not least, the factors influencing the demand in the shared economy are described. The economic consequences of the shared economy follow the offer. Finally, theories describe the legal obligations of the operator of the shared economy. The analytical part deals with the application of the shared economy on the part of the offer and the host and demand from the guest in Prague. Both questionnaires were processed as a quantitative survey. Altogether 37 respondents answered the questionnaire. Respondents responded to demand 62. Inquiry took place in both written and oral form. Finally, the analytical part deals with the comparison of some of the results of demand and supply issues. The design part is devoted to regulation and regulation of the law. There is a new casual activity and a law that clearly defines a shared economy in accommodation services. At the end of the thesis the hypotheses, which were determined at the beginning of the work, are verified. At the same time at the end of the thesis are all the data obtained, which were obtained during the survey.
