Předmětem této bakalářská práce je konkrétní panelové sídliště v Českých Budějovicích, jeho silné a slabé stránky. Teoretická část je zaměřena všeobecně na vznik sídliště, vysvětluje pojem sídliště, obsahuje domácí i zahraniční vývoj sídliště, přibližuje konstrukční typy panelových domů a v neposlední řadě se zabývá urbanismem sídlišť a jeho veřejnými prostory.
