Czechs' Awareness of Traditional Czech Desserts and Sweet Dishes

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o „Povědomí Čechů o tradičních českých dezertech a sladkých jídlech“ - tedy o orientaci lidí v této problematice. Ke zjištění znalostí byl využit on-line dotazník, na který reagovalo 142 respondentů. Teoretická část popisuje historii dezertů a sladkých jídel, ať již tradičních českých tak i zahraničních, která si v průběhu historie oblíbila společnost natolik, že se recepty na tato jídla šířily i do zahraničí. Teoretická část také popisuje vybrané hlavní suroviny používané při jejich výrobě. Analytická část shrnuje dotazníkovou metodou povědomí lidí o českých a zahraničních dezertech a jídlech. Tato část práce nemá za cíl hodnotit něčí znalosti, ale sdělit názory dotazovaných osob a jejich preference týkající se této problematiky. Poukázat na dezerty a jídla, která v naší zemi zdomácněla na tolik, že jsou dnes již považována za tradiční. V návrhové části byla zjištěna znalost dotazovaných respondentů ohledně tradičních jídel a dezertů, přičemž pro některé již zdomácněly na tolik, že jsou považovány za tradiční české, ač mají původ ze zahraničí. Kladným zjištěním bylo upřednostňování kvalitních surovin.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with "Awareness of Czechs about traditional Czech desserts and sweet dishes" - i.e. the orientation of people in this issue. An online questionnaire was used to determine the knowledge, to which 142 respondents responded. The theoretical part describes the history of desserts and sweet dishes, both traditional Czech and foreign, which throughout history has become so popular with society that recipes for these dishes spread abroad. The theoretical part also describes selected main raw materials used in their production. The analytical part summarizes people's awareness of Czech and foreign desserts and dishes using the questionnaire method. This part of the thesis does not aim to evaluate someone's knowledge, but to convey the opinions of the interviewees and their preferences regarding this issue. To point out desserts and dishes that have become so popular in our country that they are now considered traditional. In the proposition part, the respondents' knowledge of traditional dishes and desserts was found, and for some they have already become so domesticated that they are considered traditional Czech, although they originate from abroad. A positive finding was the preference for quality raw materials.
