Neural fundamentals of epilepsy.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce popisuje fyziologickou podstatu epilepsie. Snaží se shrnout a srozumitelně podat veškeré, doposud získané, poznatky. Svým zaměřením se dostává od obecných projevů až na buněčnou úroveň problému, což je nezbytně nutné k objasnění epileptických principů - hlavního úkolu této práce. Na počátku práce se píše o historii epilepsie, která pojednává o prvních zmínkách této choroby v minulosti. Dále se zabývá mechanismy, které ovlivňují vznik epilepsie. Zmiňuje se o strukturách v mozku spojených s epilepsií. Stručně popisuje základní mezinárodní klasifikaci epileptických záchvatů a ve finále se věnuje první pomoci a léčbě epileptických záchvatů.

Abstract:

This thesis describes the physiological nature of epilepsy. It seeks to comprehensively summarize and submit all, gained, knowledge. His focus is getting from the general expressions to the cellular level of the problem, which is necessary to clarify the epileptic principles - the core task of this work. At the beginning of work written on the history of epilepsy, which deals with the first mentions of the disease in the past. It follows from the mechanisms that influence the emergence of epilepsy. It looks at the structures in the brain associated with epilepsy. Briefly describes the basic international classification of epileptic seizures and in the finals shall be given first aid and treatment of epileptic seizures.
