The school inspection in kindergarten from the perspective of trainee teacher

Abstract:

The master's thesis deals with the trainee teacher's insightint to the inspection at kindergarten. It describes the definition of a teacher's profession and his/her professional career. Attention is mainly paid to the beginning of the professional career as well as the characteristics of that period. The thesis also provides information on the main functions of a nursery school, the way the profession of nursery teacher is described in the legislation, what professional competence is required and what preparations are needed for work at kindergarten. In addition, the diploma thesis takes a close look at the Czech School Inspectorate. The focus is mainly on the definition of the inspection activity, its phases, types and outputs. The subchapter which deals with the inspection activity at the kindergarten is substantial. It contains the network of relations that arise during the inspection and administrative forms of day-to-day activities monitored by the inspection. The thesis is a theoretical-empirical work that includes a qualitative research. Its aim and purpose was to find out how trainee teachers describe inspecting control in kindergarten. The research was based on interviews with teachers starting at nursery school who have already experienced first inspection.

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práca sa venuje pohľadu začínajúceho učiteľa na inšpekčnú kontrolu v materskej škole. Popisuje vymedzenie učiteľskej profesie a priblíženie jeho profesijnej dráhy, pričom pozornosť je venovaná predovšetkým časovému ohraničeniu profesijného štartu a tiež charakteristikám tohto obdobia. Práca ďalej prináša informácie o tom, aké sú hlavné funkcie materskej školy, ako je profesia učiteľa v materskej škole obsiahnutá v legislatívne, aké profesijné kompetencie by mal mať a tiež aká je jeho príprava na prácu v materskej škole. Diplomová práca okrem toho približuje aj úrad Českej školskej inšpekcie. Záujem je hlavne na vymedzení inšpekčnej činnosti, jej fázach, typoch a výstupoch, pričom významná je podkapitola venovaná inšpekčnej činnosti v materskej škole. Rieši sa v nej sieť vzťahov, ktoré vznikajú počas kontroly a tiež organizačné formy denných činností, ktoré inšpekcia sleduje. Predkladaná diplomová práca je teoreticko-empirická práca, ktorá obsahuje kvalitatívny výskumný projekt, ktorého cieľom bolo zistiť, ako začínajúci učitelia popisujú inšpekčnú kontrolu v materskej škole. Výskum bol založený na rozhovoroch so začínajúcimi učiteľkami z materských škôl, ktoré už mali svoju prvú inšpekčnú kontrolu za sebou.
