Improving the purchasing process of grocery companies through the implementation of logistic technologies.

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá metodami, kterými lze zlepšit proces nákupu v potravinářských firmách. Soustřeďuje se na logistické technologie JIT, CRP, VMI, QR, ECR a CPFR a rozebírá rozdíly mezi nimi. Realizovaný kvalitativní výzkum následně zkoumá současný proces nákupu ve vybraném potravinářském podniku a možnosti jeho zlepšování prostřednictvím implementace logistických technologií. Navazující kvantitativní výzkum zkoumá požadavky nákupčích potravinářských firem na logistické služby a kompatibilitu těchto požadavků s logistickými technologiemi.

Abstract:

The thesis engage in methods that can improve the process of purchasing in grocery companies. It is focusing on the JIT, CRP, VMI, QR, ECR and CPFR logistic technologies and analyzes the differences between them. Realised qualitative research then examines the current purchasing process in a selected grocery company and the possibilities of its improvement through the implementation of logistic technologies. Follow-up quantitative research examines the requirements of purchasing grocery companies for logistic services and the compatibility of these requirements with logistic technologies.
