Spiritual aspects in addiction treatment through a therapeutic community

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problémem nezletilých a mladých dospělých se závislostí na omamných a psychotropních látkách. Jedním z hlavních témat této práce jsou možnosti a využití spirituality s touto cílovou skupinou a jejím uplatněním v sociální práci, a to nejen v terapeutické komunitě, kterou se tato práce zabývá podrobněji, ale i v jiných formách sociální práce. Tato cílová skupina nezletilých je zde představena z pohledu vývojové psychologie, jsou zde uvedeny příčiny vzniku závislosti a také možné adiktologické přístupy ve vztahu ke spiritualitě. Také je zde odpovězeno na otázku, zda se v běžně užívaných adiktologických a terapeutických přístupech již spiritualita nenalézá a nepotřebuje být pouze poodhalena. Cílem této práce je také zjistit, zda drogová závislost významně neovlivňuje spirituální složku u mladistvých a zda tato cílová skupina má stejný potenciál rozvoje v duchovní oblasti, jako lidé bez drogové závislosti.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the problem of minors and young adults with addiction to narcotic and psychotropic substances. One of the main topics of this work is the possibilities and use of spirituality with this target group and its application in social work, not only in the therapeutic community, which this work deals with in more detail, but also in other forms of social work. This target group of minors is presented here from the point of view of developmental psychology, the causes of addiction and also possible addictological approaches in relation to spirituality are presented. It also answers the question of whether spirituality is no longer found in commonly used addictological and therapeutic approaches and does not only need to be revealed. The aim of this work is also to find out whether drug addiction significantly affects the spiritual component in adolescents and whether this target group has the potential for spiritual development.
