Analysis and design of optimization of sustainable development reporting in the specific organization

Abstract:

Předkládaná kvalifikační práce se zabývá sférou společenské odpovědnosti firem a oblastí vykazování informací o udržitelném rozvoji v rámci tzv. CSR reportů. Na začátku práce je vymezena problematika řízení udržitelného rozvoje včetně jednotlivých kroků vedoucích k implementaci CSR do podnikové struktury. Tato část je následována úsekem zaměřeným na samotný reporting informací nefinančního charakteru, jež se zabývá nejen příčinami, faktory či výhodami reportingu, ale i obsahem a kvalitou CSR zpráv. Daný úsek je doplněn pojednáním o standardech, směrnicích a doporučeních z oblasti společenské odpovědnosti. Znalosti nabyté v průběhu teoretické části jsou posléze rozšířeny analýzou a evaluací CSR reportů publikovaných zkoumanou společností, potažmo vyhodnocením podnikového sběru informací na poli udržitelného rozvoje. Na závěr práce jsou stanovena optimalizační řešení, která se týkají nejen samotné CSR zprávy, ale rovněž strategického řízení CSR aktivit.

Abstract:

Presented thesis is engaged in the sphere of corporate social responsibility and territories concerning reporting of information on sustainable development in the so-called CSR reports. Issues related to sustainable development are specified at the beginning of the work, including various steps leading to the implementation of CSR into the corporate structure. This section is followed by a part focusing on reporting of non-financial information, which addresses not only the causes, factors and benefits of reporting, but also the quality and contents of CSR reports. The chapter is aptly complemented by a discussion about standards, guidelines and recommendations in the area of social responsibility. The knowledge acquired during the theoretical part is then extended by an analysis and evaluation of the CSR reports published by researched company as well as by the evaluation of system of gathering corporate information in the field of sustainable development. Optimization solutions, which will cover not only the CSR report, but also the strategic management of CSR activities are determined at the end of the work.
