Structure and properties of 100% cotton air-jet yarn

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce zkoumá vliv technologických parametrů na strukturu a vlastnosti bavlněné tryskové příze vypředené na stroji J20 od firmy Rieter a.s. Ústí nad Orlicí. V experimentální části jsou komentovány výsledky měření vybrané vlastnosti příze a to nestejnoměrnost, chlupatost, pevnost a tažnost. Dále jsou zkoumány vybrané strukturální charakteristiky příze (průměr příze, zákrut obalové stužky vláken, procento obalových vláken), vzhledem ke změně odtahové rychlosti a tlaku vzduchu. Výsledky práce ukazují, že vyšší odtahová rychlost působí pozitivně a naopak tlak vzduchu působí jako negativní vliv na kvadratickou nestejnoměrnost tryskové příze. Vyšší hodnota tlaku vzduchu způsobuje u některých variant vypředených přízí, vyšší hodnotu poměrné pevnosti příze. Výsledky práce poukázaly na významný vliv tlaku vzduchu a odtahové rychlosti na hodnotu chlupatosti. Dále se projevil vliv odtahové rychlosti na zákrut obalové stužky vláken, čím vyšší odtahová rychlost tím nižší byl zákrut obalové stužky vláken. V řadě případů se projevil vliv kombinace odváděcí rychlosti a tlaku vzduchu. Širší diskuze o výsledcích experimentální části se nachází v závěru práce.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis examines the influence of technological parameters on the structure and properties of cotton air-jet spun yarn on the J20 machine by Rieter a.s. Ústí nad Orlicí. In the experimental part, the measured selected yarns properties are commented, namely quadratic yarn irregularity, hairiness, tenacity and elongation. Next were selected structural characteristics of the yarn (eg. yarn diameter, twist, helix pitch, etc.), due to the change out-delivery speed and air pressure. The results of the work shown, that the higher out-delivery speed is positive and the air pressure shown as a negative influence on the quadratic yarn irregularity of the air-jet yarn. For some yarn variations higher air pressure causes higher yarn strength. The results of the work revealed a significant influence of air pressure on the hairiness value. Furthermore, the effect of the out-delivery speed on the twist of the wrapping fiber ribbon has been manifested. This has shown that a higher out-delivery speed causes a lower wrapping fiber ribbon twist value. In a number of cases, the combination of out-delivery speed and air pressure has been demonstrated. A wider discussions of the results of the experimental part are at the end of this master thesis.
