Abstract:
Embryonální diapauza je reprodukční strategií, která zvyšuje šanci na přežití narozených mláďat. Vyvinula se v rámci evoluce a objevuje se u celé řady bezobratlých i obratlovců, včetně zhruba stovky savců sedmi různých řádů. Abstract:
Embryonic diapause is an evolutionary reproductive strategy to ensure the survival of neonates, used by numerous invertebrate and vertebrate taxa, including close to 100 mammals in seven different orders. In mammalian embryonic diapause, the conceptus enters a state of suspended animation at blastocyst stage and does not immediately implant in the uterus.
