Evaluation of color differences-influence of measurement geometry

Abstract:

Tato práce řeší hodnocení rozdílů barev a vliv geometrie měření na barevné rozdíly. Cílem práce je i ověření účinnosti diferenční rovnice AUDI2000 pro textilní materiály. Vyhodnocení probíhalo na základě měření spektrofotometry a obrazovou analýzou. Získané kolorimetrické hodnoty z těchto měření byly použity k analýze diferenční rovnice AUDI2000, která byla následně ověřena pomocí normované rovnice CIE2000. K experimentu bylo použito 27 vzorků různých materiálů a strukturních povrchů. Výsledky ukazují, že míru vlivu geometrie měření na výsledné barevné rozdíly, zásadně ovlivňují charakteristiky měřených materiálů. Výsledky ověření diferenční rovnice AUDI2000 ukazují na vhodnost jejího použití pro textilní materiály. Podle získaných výsledků má význam se testováním diferenční rovnice AUDI2000 pro použití u textilních materiálů hlouběji zabývat, a proto jsou i v závěru konkrétní doporučení pro další postup důkladnějšího testování diferenční rovnice AUDI2000.

Abstract:

This work solves the evaluation of color differences and influence of measurement geometry on color differences. Additionally, the work aimed to verify the effectiveness of the differential equation AUDI2000 for textile materials. The evaluation was performed on the basis of spectrophotometer measurements and image analysis. The colorimetric values obtained from these measurements were used to analyze the effectiveness of the differential equation AUDI2000. Sequentially, the equation was verified based on the standardized equation CIE2000. 27 samples of different materials and structural surfaces were used for the experiment. The results show that the degree of influence of the measurement geometry on the resulting color differences is fundamentally affected by the characteristics of the measured materials. The results of the verification of the differential equation AUDI2000 show the suitability of its use for textile materials. According to the obtained results, it is essential to deal more deeply with the testing of the differential equation AUDI2000 for use in textile materials, and therefore, in the end of this work, there are specific recommendations for the further procedure of more thorough testing of the differential equation AUDI2000.
