Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá seniorem jako osobou ohroženou kriminalitou. Obsah práce je členěn na dva propojené celky, teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se věnuje základním pojmům a poznatkům, které spojují toto téma. Úvodní kapitola se zabývá charakteristikou osoby seniora. Blíže specifikuje pohled na stáří, na oblast změn, se kterými se člověk potýká v této periodě života a pohled společnosti na seniory. To vše popisuje v kontextu s kriminogenními faktory a forenzní psychologií. Další kapitolou je senior jako oběť, kde se dozvídáme proč se senioři stávají oběťmi kriminálního jednání, jak se s touto situací vyrovnávají a jaký to na ně činí dopad. Třetí kapitola doplňuje definici pojmu kriminality a především pohledy na trestnou činnost páchanou na seniorech. Zabývá se konkrétními delikty, kterými jsou senioři nejčastěji vystaveni a tématy domácího násilí a počítačové kriminality. Tento teoretický rámec uzavírá téma prevence a pomoci obětem v seniorském věku. Specifikuje různé formy prevence, které jsou třeba v této oblasti provádět, a věnuje se organizacím, které poskytují pomoc ohroženým seniorům, nezapomínaje na Policii ČR. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaký pohled na tuto problematiku má právě seniorská populace. Konkrétně jak moc ohroženou sociální skupinou se cítí být, jakého kriminálního jednání se nejvíce obávají a jak jsou informovaní v oblasti prevence a pomoci jejich věkové kategorii. Naplnění tohoto cíle najdeme v druhé části práce, která je zpracována formou výzkumného šetření, kterého se zúčastnili samotní senioři. Teoretická a praktická část práce spolu korespondují a propojují teoretické poznatky se subjektivním vnímáním kriminality páchané na seniorech očima potencionálních obětí.

Abstract:

The submitted master's thesis deals with the senior as a person threatened criminality. The thesis is divided to two connected parts – the theoretical one and the practical one. The theoretical part deals with basic terms and facts, which connect the topic. The introductory chapter describes a senior citizen itself. It specifies old age and connected changes, which are typical for this period of life. It also describes the attitude of the society to senior citizens in general. It is all processed in the context of criminogenics factors and forensic psychology. Another chapter is about a senior citizen as a victim. The chapter answers why the senior citizens become victims of crimes, how do they deal with the situation and how it affects them. The third chapter completes the definition of criminality, most importantly crimes committed on senior citizens. The chapter focuses on specific offences which are commonly connected with seniors – domestic violence and virtual criminality. This theoretical framework is enclosed by the topic of prevention and help for victims among senior citizens. There are specified different kinds of prevention, which are needed to be done. The chapter also mentions institutions – including Police of the Czech Republic - which help senior citizens. The aim of the thesis is to find out the point of view of senior citizens. Specifically, how much do the seniors feel themselves to be endangered, what crimes do they worry the most, and how informed about the possibilities of prevention and help are they in their age bracket. The second part of this thesis contains the research made with senior citizens. The theoretical and practical part of this thesis do connect theoretical facts with subjective perception of criminality of seniors – as potential victims – themselves
