This thesis deals with removal of surface organic contamination using various methods. The first one is the photocatalytic processes, where a unique method of removing not only contaminants on the photocatalyst’s surface, but also on surfaces in distances up to several centimetres from it was discovered. Táto dizertačná práca sa venuje problematike čistenia povrchov od organickej kontaminácie rôznymi metódami. Prvou z nich je fotokatalytický proces, pri ktorom bol vynájdený unikátny spôsob odstraňovania kontaminácie nielen na povrchu fotokatalyzátora, ale aj na povrchoch umiestnených niekoľko centimetrov od fotokatalytu.
