Abstract:
Doposud bylo u člověka identifikováno 37 MAGE (melanoma-associated antigen) genů. Na základě rozdílů jejich genové exprese a struktury je skupina MAGE genů rozdělena na typ I and II. Exprese MAGE genů typu I je utlumena v dospělých buňkách normálních tkání, ale je aktivována v různých maligních nádorech. MAGE geny typu II jsou exprimovány téměř ve všech tkáních. Abstract:
To date, 37 melanoma-associated antigen (MAGE) genes have been identified in humans. The large MAGE family is divided into type I and II based on differences in tissue-specific gene expression and gene structure.
