The interrelation of mathematics with physical education at elementary school

Abstract:

V diplomové práci na téma Vzájemné propojení matematiky s tělesnou výchovou na 1. stupni ZŠ se věnuji integraci těchto dvou zmíněných předmětů, zejména u žáků mladšího školního věku. Hlavním cílem práce bylo zjistit, zda učitelé v praxi propojují matematiku a tělesnou výchovou s jinými předměty, vzájemně tyto dva předměty a zda je vůbec pro učitele atraktivní a důležité zařazovat tuto formu výuky do praxe. Teoretická část seznamuje čtenáře s RVP ZV a definuje vzdělávací obor Matematika a její aplikace se vzdělávací oblastí Člověk a jeho zdraví. Dále je věnována samotné mezipředmětové integraci a samotným žákům, jejich potřebám pohybu a motivaci k učení. V praktické části je věnována zjištění pomocí dotazníkové metody, zda učitelé pravidelně ve vyučování integrují dané učivo na prvním stupni a zda se jim zdá důležité propojování matematiky s tělesnou výchovou navzájem, ale i s jinými předměty. V metodické části jsou předloženy náměty pro integraci matematického učiva do výuky tělesné výchovy a naopak.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on the connection of two educational subjects, Maths and Physical Education, at the basic school, the first grade. I tried to be focused on the integration of these two educational subjects among the younger students. The main goal of this thesis is to describe the possibility to connect these two subjects in the practice. The next goal is to find out if the teachers are interested in the connection Maths and PE in their lessons. The theoretical part of the thesis tries to determine Maths as the subject, and as the educational branch of the Framework Educational Programme for the Basic Education, connected with the subject The Man and his Health. Pupils necessity to move during the lessons and the motivation to study, it is the next part of the theoretical part. The practical part of the thesis contains the research among the teachers, their everyday experience with the integration of Maths and PE, and their attitude to the necessity to integrate these two subjects. The last part of the thesis contains and describes my own suggestion how to integrate the curriculum of these two educational subjects to mutual benefit.
