Prevention of netholism in the secondary schools

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku prevence netolismu na středních školách. Cílem práce je teoreticky představit problematiku prevence netolismu a v rámci praktické části identifikovat faktory a postupy, které přispívají k primární prevenci netolismu na vybrané střední škole z pohledu jejich pedagogů a navrhnout doporučení pro implementaci preventivních opatření proti netolismu do vzdělávacího prostředí střední školy. Teoretická část práce se věnuje charakteristice žáka střední školy s rizikovým chováním, prevenci rizikového chování na střední škole a posléze se zabývá samotným pojmem netolismus. V rámci praktické části jsou formulovány výzkumné otázky a dílčí cíle, následované analýzou a zpracováním dat získaných prostřednictvím kvalitativního výzkumu ve formě polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s pedagogy vybrané střední školy. V závěrečné části práce jsou shrnuty výsledky, které odpovídají na položené výzkumné otázky a dílčí cíle, a jsou formulována doporučení pro uplatnění v praxi.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of prevention of netholism in the secondary schools. The aim of the thesis is to theoretically present the issue of prevention of netholism and within the practical part to identify factors and practices that contribute to the primary prevention of netholism in a selected secondary school from the prespective of theit teachers and to propose recommendations for the implementation of preventive measures against netholism in the educational environment of the secondary school. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the characteristics of a secondary school student with risky behaviour, prevention of risky behaviour in secondary school and then discusses the concept of netholism itself. The practical part formulates research questions and sub-objectives, followed by the analysis and processing of data obtained through qualitative research in the form of semi-structured interviews with teachers of the selected secondary school. In the final part of the thesis, the results are summarized, answering the research questions and sub-objectives, and recommendations for practical application are formulated.
