Cílem této diplomové práce je výtvarné zpracování knihy Ódinovo dítě od autorky Siri Pettersen (2013) v kontextu severogermánské mytologie. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. V první, teoretické části, se zabývám severskou mytologií a tím, jak ovlivnila Siri Pettersen při vytváření fiktivního světa, ve kterém se odehrává děj knihy Ódinovo dítě. Abstract:
The aim of this diploma thesis is to create the theoretical and visual concept of the book Odin‘s Child (2013) by Siri Pettersen in the context of North-German mythology. The thesis consists of two parts. In the first, theoretical part, I deal with Nordic mythology and how it influenced Siri Pettersen in the creation of a fictional world, in which the story of Odin‘s Child takes place.
