Ground beetles (Coleoptera, Carabidae) in forest ecosystems of Tisá territory (FD Děčín)

Abstract:

Tato práce si klade za cíl početní a druhové zhodnocení epigeické fauny náhorního plata revíru Tisá (LS Děčín), které bylo v minulosti ovlivněno silným impaktem imisí na půdu a vytvořením porostů náhradních dřevin. Na tomto území bylo vyčleněno 26 lokalit různých typů porostů, aby bylo možné zkoumat závislost střevlíkovitých na druhu dřeviny, jejím věku, stupni zabuřenění a světlostních poměrech. Sběr probíhal do zemních pastí, které byly instalovány před začátkem vegetačního období a byly aktivní až do konce vegetačního období (19.20. 3. 2016 až 10. 10. 2016), kdy byl proveden poslední sběr. Zemních pastí bylo rozmístěno celkem 130 a zaznamenali jsme celkově 4277 kusů střevlíkovitých za celé vegetační období 2016. Preference stáří porostu byla potvrzena u bukových porostů, kde střevlíkovití výrazně preferovali mladší bukové porosty před staršími. Dále byla potvrzena preference zabuřeněných porostů některými druhy, jako např. Carabus hortensis, Carabus violaceus a Pterostichus niger. Všichni střevlíkovití byli váženi a z výsledků jsou patrné rozdíly při posuzování dominance druhů z hlediska početního a nebo z hlediska biomasy.

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to evaluate the abundance and species composition of epigeal fauna on the upland plateau of Tisá (LS Děčín), which was affected by air-pollution damage and tree species substitution. At this location we established 26 sites in different types of tree species, to be able to study the dependency of ground beetles on tree species, its age, level of weed infestation and ground clearance conditions. Pitfall trap method was used for collecting and the traps were placed before growing season and remained active until the end of growing season (19.20. 3. 2016 up to 10. 10. 2016), when the last gathering happened. A total of 130 pitfall traps were placed and we recorded a sample of 4277 individuals of ground beetles during the whole growing season in 2016. Preference within the age of forest stands was proven only in beech forests, where ground beetles clearly preferred younger stands. It was also proven that certain species such as Carabus hortensis, Carabus violaceus, Pterostichus niger preferred stand with heavy weed infestation. All of the captured individuals were weighed and from the results there was obvious difference in the dominance of species on certain sites when considered from the abundance point of view or mass point of view.
