Radicalism and activism of the Israel radical right and settlers in the context of the current conflict in Gaza - a potential security risk from the point of view of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá současným izraelsko-palestinským válečným konfliktem se zaměřením na území Gazy. Část práce je proto věnována historickému vývoji opakovaných konfliktů a později konkrétně analyzuje současnou situaci v Gaze. Zdůrazněny jsou aktivity radikálních osadníků a také politika izraelské vlády. Práce současně zkoumá vliv hnutí Hamás na eskalaci konfliktu. Cílem bakalářské práce je analyzovat bezpečnostní rizika vyplývající z tohoto konfliktu a posoudit jejich dopady na Českou republiku.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis with the current Israeli-Palestinien war conflict with a focus on the Gaza Strip. Part of the work is therefore devoted on the historical development of repeated conflicts and later specifically analyzes teh current situation ij Gaza. The activities of radical settlers as well as the policies of the Israeli government are highlighted. At the same time, tthe work examines the influence of the Hamas movement on the escalation of the conflict. The aim of the bachelor thesisi is to analyse the security from this conflict and to assess their impact on the Czech Republic.
