Postoperative patient's pain in post-traumatic period

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na pooperační bolest pacientů v posttraumatickém období. Obsah je rozdělen na teoretickou a empirickou část. Teoretická část je rozdělena do šesti kapitol. V teoretické části jsou nejprve tříděny úrazové stavy, popsány komplikace traumatologických výkonů a zásady péče o pacienty po traumatu a traumatologických operacích. V dalších kapitolách se práce věnuje bolesti jako symptomu, monitoringu bolesti, zásadám ošetřování nemocných s bolestí, farmakologické i nefarmakologické léčbě pooperační bolesti, dnešním trendům a postupům uvedeným do praxe. Empirická část práce sleduje intenzitu pooperační bolesti na úrazové chirurgii a efektivitu její léčby. Zjišťuje, zda pohlaví, typ výkonu, přidružené komplikace, opakované operace a doba lačnění významně ovlivňují intenzitu pooperační bolesti. Mapuje, která farmakoterapie je po daných operačních zákrocích nejefektivnější. Nakonec je sledována spokojenost pacientů s léčbou pooperační bolesti.

Abstract:

The master thesis focuses on theme of post-operative pain of patients with post-traumatic period. The content is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part is divided into six chapters. In the theoretical part the injuries are sorted, moreover the complication of traumatological procedures are described here and it also concentrates on principles of patient care after trauma and traumatology. In the next chapters it focuses on pain as symptom, pain monitoring, care principles, pharmacological and non pharmacological treatment of post-operative pain, current trends and practices. The empirical part concentrates on intensity of post-operative pain in traumatology and effectiveness of its treatment. It also determines whether gender, type of medical performance, associated complications, repetitive surgeries and tardiness significantly influence the intensity of surgery. It defines which pharmacotherapy is after the surgeries the most effective. Finally the satisfaction of patients with post-operative pain is monitored in these master thesis.
