Abstract:

Předkládaná disertační práce si klade za cíl interpretovat velmi důležitý úsek dějin českých zemí z nového úhlu, z pohledu propagandy. Její těžiště spočívá v analýze mediálního obrazu Reinharda Heydricha a zásadních historických dějů s ním souvisejících, jak byly prezentovány v dobových českých a německých médiích. Z oborového a metodologického hlediska je tato práce do značné míry transdisciplinární. Na jedné straně spadá do kontextu studia dějin protektorátu, na druhé straně se snaží postihnout mechanismus procesu mediální komunikace. Kombinovány jsou zde metody historikovy práce a mediální analýzy.

Abstract:

The submitted dissertation aims to interpret a very important period in the history of the Czech lands from a new angle, from the viewpoint of propaganda. It mainly focuses on the analysis of the media representation of Reinhard Heydrich and the fundamental events related to him, as they were presented in the period Czech and German media. Regarding its field of study and methodological point of view, this dissertation largely pursues a transdisciplinary approach. On the one hand, it can be viewed in the context of historical research into the Protectorate, on the other it endeavours to cover the mechanism of media communication. It combines work methods used by historians and media analysis.
