War in Vietnam and the US Civil and Human Rights Movements' Role
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem amerických hnutí za občanská práva na válku ve Vietnamu. Popisuje vývoj hnutí za občanská práva od padesátých do sedmdesátých let dvacátého století, průběh války ve Vietnamu a reakci na ni. V práci je rozebírán také vliv hnutí za občanská práva na média, politiky, veřejné mínění a volby.
Abstract:
This Bachelor thesis analyses influence of the American civil rights movement on the war in Vietnam. The thesis describes a development of the civil rights movement from the 1950s to 1970s, course of the war in Vietnam and public reaction. The thesis also deals with the civil rights movement influence on the media, politicians, public and elections.
