The invasive pneumococcal disease
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce popisuje invazivní pneumokoková onemocnění, která vyvolává bakterie Streptococcus pneumoniae neboli pneumokok. Zabývá se antigenní strukturou, faktory virulence, prevencí a léčbou těchto onemocnění. V závěru se práce zaměřuje na epidemiologii invazivních pneumokokových onemocnění, situaci v České republice a na diagnostiku onemocnění.
Abstract:
This Bachelor's thesis describes invasive pneumococcal diseases which are caused by a bacteria Streptococcus pneumoniae, a.k.a. pneumococcus. This work deals particularly with antigenic structure, virulence factors and medical treatments of these illnesses.
