The way of fulfilling the needs of seniors by the nursing service.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem Způsob naplňování potřeb seniorů ze strany pečovatelské služby se zabývá potřebami seniorů v jejich domácnosti. Cílem práce je zjistit, jakým způsobem pečovatelská služba naplňuje potřeby seniorů a zaměřit se také na stávající pokrytí ostatních služeb. V úvodu své práce jsem zmapovala současnou situaci seniorů ve společnosti a jejich možnosti využití péče. Pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a následným otevřeným kódováním jsem vymezila nejdůležitější potřeby seniorů v domácnosti a následně popsala, zda a jakým způsobem jsou tyto potřeby naplňovány. Dále jsem zmapovala možnosti využití jiných služeb v rámci poskytování péče v domácnosti. Poznatky, které z této práce vzešly, mohou být považovány za doporučení směrem k poskytovatelům sociálních služeb, ale také k pečovatelské službě samotné.

Abstract:

The title of the bachelor's thesis is How the needs of the elderly are met by the care service and this thesis deals with the needs of the elderly in their home. The aim of the thesis is to find out the ways in which the Care Service meets the needs of the elderly, while also focusing on mapping the existing coverage of other services. In the introduction of the thesis, the current position of the elderly in society is mapped, as well as the possibilities for them to use care. Using semi-structured interviews followed by open coding, I determined the most important needs of the seniors in their homes, which I then described in order to obtain answers as to whether and how their needs were being met. Subsequently, I also mapped the possibilities of using other services within the home care provided. The findings from this work can be considered as recommendations directed to social service providers or to the care service itself.
