Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá problematikou short sellingu a short squeezu na finančních trzích s konkrétním zaměřením na trhy akciové. Předmětem práce je analyzovat vývoj ceny či jiných proměnných u nadměrně shortovaných akcií a pokusit se najít spojení mezi nadměrným shortováním a následným short squeezem u těchto akcií. This paper is investigating short selling and short squeeze in financial markets, with a focus on the stock market. The main purpose of this paper is to analyse the development of important variables in heavily shorted stocks and to search for their connection to a short squeeze.
