Application of accounting concepts, principles and rules in practice of Czech entrepreneurial subjects

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá uplatňováním účetních konceptů, principů a zásad v konkrétním zemědělském družstvu. Teoretická východiska přibližují právní úpravu účetnictví v České republice, všeobecně uznávané účetní zásady, metodické prvky účetnictví, kvalitativní charakteristiky účetních informací a specifika účtování a oceňování v zemědělství. Součástí praktické části je charakteristika zemědělského subjektu, dále pak analytická deskripce stavu uplatňování účetních zásad se zaměřením zejména na zásadu opatrnosti, zásadu oceňování v historických cenách a zásadu akruálnosti. Na základě zjištěných výsledků jsou vyhodnoceny nedostatky a navrhnuta řešení, jejichž aplikací se dostojí vytyčeným zásadám. Cílem práce je na základě všech zjištěných skutečností formulovat přínosy navržených opatření vedoucí ke zlepšení vypovídací schopnosti účetních informací.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the application of accounting concepts, principles and rules in a particular co-operative farm. The theoretical part describes the accounting legislation in the Czech Republic, generally accepted accounting principles, methodical elements of accounting, the qualitative characteristics of accounting information and the specifics of accounting and valuation in agriculture. The characteristics of the agricultural subject, as well as an analytical description of the state of application of the accounting principles, focusing on the conservatism concept, the historical cost concept and the accrual basis are the parts of the practical research. On the basis of the results, the shortcomings are evaluated and proposals are suggested. The application of the proposals meets the established principles. The aim of the thesis is to formulate the benefits of the proposed measures, based on all the facts, to improve the information ability of the accounting information.
