Abstract:

Based on the case of the chosen multinational corporation, assessment of financial and economic expedience of finance transformation strategy implemented by the company was performed in the thesis. The resulting positive changes and possible adverse effects were examined and a set of recommendations supporting successful implementation by other companies was generated. The first part of the work covers the discussion of strategies most commonly applied by multinational corporations during the last decade. Next comes the representation of the financial state and strategic developments the chosen company has undergone, justifying the necessity for further transformation. Methodology and the respective calculations to assess the efficiency of the applied strategy follows. The final part generalizes the positive results, also underlining the adverse effects of the transformative changes and represents a set of recommendations based on the studied company practice.
