A Case Study of a Cyber Attack

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá oblastí kybernetické bezpečnosti, přičemž se zaměřuje na problematiku zranitelnosti uživatelů. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části je představena oblast kybernetické bezpečnosti, současný stav kybernetické bezpečnosti v České republice a hrozby, se kterými se dnes může uživatel nejčastěji v kybernetickém prostoru setkat. V praktické části je zpracována případová studie kybernetického útoku. Také jsou zde představeny nástroje a postupy, které vedou ke zvýšení odolnosti uživatelů vůči hrozbám v kybernetickém prostoru.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the field of cyber security, focusing on the issue of user vulnerability. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the field of cyber security, the current state of cyber security in the Czech Republic and the threats that the user can most often encounter in cyber space are presented. In the practical part, a case study of a cyber attack is processed. Tools and procedures are also presented here, which lead to an increase in the resistance of users to threats in cyberspace.
