Abstract:
Roráty jsou zpěvy, které se uplatňovaly v adventním údobí při ranní votivní mši k poctě blahoslavené Panny Marie. Výraz roráty pochází z latinského incipitu Rorate coeli desuper (rosu dejte nebesa shůry), přesněji z počátečních slov výše zmíněné mše. Rorátní rukopisná kniha fond G10, inv. č. 1165 pochází z počátku 17. století, přesněji ji datujeme do roku 1604 a dochovala se ve sbírkách Moravského …moreAbstract:
The Rorate chants are Czech chants which were performed during votive masses devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary in Advent. Rorate manuscripts contain Czech choral and mensural songs. The Rorate manuscript fond G10, sign. 1165 dates back to the beginning of the 17th century and can be found in Moravský zemský archiv (MZA).
