Abstract:

Rusko je nepochybne svetovým hráčom na politickej a ekonomickej mape sveta a túto úlohu sa snaží potvrdzovať aj v Afrike, ako nástupnícky štát Sovietskeho zväzu a teda jeho politiky v regióne Blízkeho východu a severnej Afriky. Práca sa zaoberá skúmaním aktivít Ruskej federácie v danom regióne, používanie mäkkej a rovnako aj hrubej sily, ktorá sa v niektorých krajinách zmieneného regiónu tlačí do popredia pri zabezpečení strategických cieľov RF. Cieľom práce je zadefinovať úlohy ruskej bezpečnostnej zahraničnej politiky v regióne Blízkeho východu a severnej Afriky v kontexte geopolitických zmien smerom k unipolárnemu usporiadaniu sveta a meniacej sa pozície Ruska ako regionálneho a golbálneho aktéra medzinárodných vzťahov. Aktuálnosť práce spočíva v súčasných udalostiach prebiehajúcich v regióne a vzrastaniu ruského vyplvu v regióne Blízkeho východu a severnej Afriky.

Abstract:

Russia is undoubtedly a world player on the political and economic map of the world, and it is trying to confirm this role in Africa as the successor state of the Soviet Union and thus its policies in the Middle East and North Africa region. The thesis deals with the investigation of the activities of the Russian Federation in the given region, the use of soft and also brute force, which is used in some countries of the mentioned region pushes to the fore in securing the strategic objectives of the RF. The aim of the thesis is to define the roles of the Russian foreign security policy in the region of the Middle East and North Africa in the context of geopolitical changes towards to the unipolar arrangement of the world and the changing position of Russia as a regional and global actor in international relations. The topicality of the thesis lies in the current events taking place in the region and the growth of Russian influence in the region of the Middle East and North Africa.
