Leasing as an alternative method of funding of the property in terms of taxes and accounting

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem "Leasing jako alternativní forma financování majetku v účetních a daňových aspektech" je rozdělena do pěti hlavních částí. Teoretická část práce pojednává o leasingu z obecného hlediska, jeho historii, právní úpravě, druzích leasingu a jeho vývoji. V dalších kapitolách se teoretické poznatky prolínají s praktickou částí práce. Teoretická východiska stanovují, co pojem leasing znamená, vymezují základní pojmy, které ho charakterizují a informují čtenáře o pohledu na leasing z hlediska daně z příjmů a daně z přidané hodnoty. Praktická část je zaměřena na podnik CID PATROL, s. r. o., který poskytl podklady pro zpracování práce. Zaměříme se na jeho charakteristiku, management a majetek, který podnik vlastní. Předmětem zkoumání je způsob financování pořízení jednotlivých druhů majetku, sestavení splátkových kalendářů a evidenčních karet ve vybraném podniku. V závěru práce jsou zmíněny daňové dopady na podnik CID PATROL, s. r. o., shrnuty poznatky získané během spolupráce s účetní podniku a navržena doporučení v oblasti financování pořízení majetku.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis "Leasing as an alternative method of funding of the property in terms of taxes and accounting" is divided into five main parts. The theoretical part discusses the leasing from a general point of view. It focuses on a history, legal issues, different forms of the leasing and its historical development. In the next chapters the theoretical basis will blend in a practical part of the thesis. Theoretical conclusions defines what exactly the term leasing means, specifies the basic concepts that characterizes it and informs the reader about the leasing in terms of income and value added taxes. The practical part aims on CID PATROL, s.r.o. company that provided materials for this thesis. We will focus the company characteristics, management and the property it owns. The subject of examination is a way how to fund an ecquisition of distinct types of new property, building a payment schedule and record keeping in the selected company. In the end of the thesis the taxation impacts on the CID PATROL, s.r.o. company are discussed as well as a summary of findings learned during the cooperation with the accountant of the company which led into a recommendations in the area of funding of the new property acquisition.
