Study of polyvalent phage-host Staphylococcus aureus interactions
Abstract:
Tato práce je zaměřena na studium interakcí mezi polyvalentním bakteriofágem a jeho hostitelem Staphylococcus aureus na transkriptomické úrovni. V práci byla optimalizována metoda izolace a purifikace RNA. Následně byla studována exprese fágového transkripčního faktoru a endolyzinu v průběhu fágové infekce.
Abstract:
This thesis is focused on the study of interactions between polyvalent bacteriophage and its host of Staphylococcus aureus at the transcriptomic level. RNA isolation and purification method has been optimized. Subsequently, expression of phage transcription factor and endolysin was studied during phage infection.
