Spatial Heat Propagation in Metals

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na prostorové šíření tepla v kovových materiálech. Teoretická část uvádí popis základních termodynamických pojmů, vysvětluje základní termodynamické zákony a popisuje možnosti sdílení tepla. Praktická část je rozdělena do tří částí, kde první je zaměřena na návrh a realizaci měření fyzikálních vlastností důležitých pro přenos tepla. Druhá část se věnuje návrhu a realizaci experimentu měření prostorového šíření tepla s ohledem na vliv okolí. Třetí část se zabývá tvorbou modelu v simulačním programu založeném na metodě konečných prvků a kalibrací modelů s výsledky experimentu.

Abstract:

This master thesis is focused on spatial heat transfer inside metals. The theoretical part deals with base terms of thermodynamics, explains fundamental laws of thermodynamics and describes classification of heat transfer. The practical part is divided into 3 sections. The first one aims to design and execute measurements of significant physical characteristics relevant for heat transfer. The second section deals with designing and implementation of a spatial heat transfer experiment with respect to surroundings. The third part describes creation of model by using a computer simulation program based on finite element method and calibration of the models with respect to results of experiment of spatial heat transfer.
